La Quinta by Wyndham Batavia

The rooms were big and very clean. Great selection of tv channels as well including HBO. What made this hotel exceptional was the staff. So accommodating, friendly and helpful. The breakfast crew was continuously replenishing the food bar and cleaning up after every single guest. This is a pet friendly hotel and it did not smell or look like some of the other pet friendly hotels I have visited. Location was convenient, but certainly not a picturesque area. The town of Batavia is a good spot to use as home base for travel to Rochester, Niagra and Letchworth State Park. There were a ton of restaurants and stores to choose from in Batavia.

It is located best for me (it was my second time here). The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are very well maintained and the included breakfast is good and offered at a time that works for me. It's kept simple and meets the needs.

The front desk was welcoming and pleasant. When we went for breakfast, the staff stopped to eat with other hotel staff. It would not have been a problem, except the two coffee pots were empty and no eggs. The staff occupied a large table eating in view of people finding no coffee. They were aware, but .made to effort to remedy the situation. I had to ask for coffee after they went back to work.

For the most part everything was great. Friendly staff that went out of their way for me. Somehow i had two separate bookings and she let me know and made sure I did not not need the second one and canceled it for me. I wish I knew her name because she was so kind and very knowledgeable.

Good. I especially liked the room door locks. Very much an improvement over the old ones.
